Monster unlocks
OrderAny orderMonster unlocks follow any order. The playable names are the 12 kaiju on the roster. Heisei Godzilla is the default fighter in a new lobby, which is a selection fact, separate from this unlock order.
Monsters, locations, and gallery items unlock in any order. That is the remaster rule, and the same order applies to all three targets.
The roster has 12 kaiju and the remaster location count is 8. Those are the pools behind the monster and location unlocks. Gallery items are the third target.
2002 character notes unlocked several monsters by clearing Adventure. The remaster rule is any order instead of that chain. Cheat codes from the 2002 list are not this rule either.
The June reprint mentions a currency unlock and does not give an amount. No starting lineup, price, gallery item name, or per-monster condition is published with the any-order rule.

Monster unlocks follow any order. The playable names are the 12 kaiju on the roster. Heisei Godzilla is the default fighter in a new lobby, which is a selection fact, separate from this unlock order.
Location unlocks follow the same any order. The remaster count is eight day-and-night locations, including Monster Island and the alien Mothership. Xbox-only stages such as Thrashburg 3 sit outside that count and are not remaster location unlocks.
Gallery unlocks are the third target and use the same any order as monsters and locations. The published feature line calls them gallery items.
Nintendo repeats the any-order unlock for monsters, locations, and gallery items.
The published rule stops at those three targets and the any-order choice.

These lines are the 2002 character notes. Read them as the old Adventure chain, not as remaster steps.
Those Adventure notes pair Godzilla 90's into Godzilla 2000, Godzilla 2000 into Destoroyah, Anguirus into Gigan, Gigan into Rodan, and Megalon into King Ghidorah into Mecha-King Ghidorah. Orga is the last name in that chain.
The US Mechagodzilla 2 clear and the Japanese Kiryu clear both use Destoroyah, Rodan, and Mecha-King Ghidorah, and Orga's clear uses Godzilla 2000 after the others.

Orga | After unlocking all other characters, beat Adventure mode with Godzilla 2000. |

The 2002 cheat box opens on the main menu by holding L, B, and R, then releasing B, R, and L, and typing six digits. The saved sheet has 53 GameCube codes and 62 Xbox codes. None of those 115 codes is published as a remaster unlock.
The temporary lines cover single monsters, every character, every character except Orga, every location, Monster Island, the Mothership, the Boxing Ring, and every gallery item. Each of those unlocks ends when the game powers off. Hedorah codes on the same sheet force that 2002 hazard onto every level or remove it.
